Synecdoche, New York

Watching “Synecdoche, New York" gave new meaning to my life (and what I do with it) in a way only Charlie Kaufman could.  I love the small details he adds to help the audience further understand the story, but at the same time throw them for a complete loop.  My favorite of these being the house Hazel purchases and the fact that it is constantly on fire.  Sometimes we are so caught up in how others perceive our lives, we will do anything to make ourselves seem superior, even if our choices lead to an obvious dead end.
