Today I watched “James and the Giant Peach" for the first time since I was a little girl. If there’s two things I have always loved (and will always love) it’s Roald Dahl and stop motion animation. I watched “Fantastic Mr. Fox" earlier this week, and the two seem to go together like peas in a pod. Plus, James’ aunts are the closest thing I’ve ever seen to a Quentin Blake illustration in human form. What twits.
Things I remember liking about “James and the Giant Peach" when I was younger:
1. the soundtrack
2. Miss Spider
Things I liked about it this time around:
1. the soundtrack
2. Miss Spider
In some ways the only change I’ve gone through in the past year is growing taller.
