Last night was my first orchestra concert as a college student. I don’t usually get nervous, but I was completely overcome with nerves. We got to play with the Balkan string quartet, which was an incredible experience I will cherish forever, but what truly made it perfect was the fact that once the concert was over I was immediately surrounded by people I love. My parents even got to come from Athens! I have some of the best friends I could ask for, and I wouldn’t trade that for anything.
